Keepsake from ‘lola’: Tiered and so pretty | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

t0218diyWhile cleaning out her storage area, Pin C. Guingona came across a box containing antique glassware given by her late grandmother.

The pretty blue-etched pre-war glass candy dishes were too pretty to hide, yet too risky to use for everyday needs.

She came up with a great idea to share with our readers that could easily be done using any fluted dishes and saucers you most likely have at home.

You will need:

Fluted glass dishes (ceramic will work, too)

Glue gun

Play around with the dishes you have chosen until you find the balanced look you want.

Glue the bottom of each dish to the top of the dish below.

Press down firmly and wait to dry.

Repeat with the next layer.

This beautiful tiered creation sits atop Pin’s desk to hold paper clips and other odds and ends. Best of all, it quietly and elegantly reminds her every day of her beautiful “Mommy Lols.”
