Director Rajiv Patil's hit film 'Jogwa' is also remembered for beautiful picturization apart from its many other aspects. And the credit for that goes to cinematographer Atul Jagdale.
Now, Jagdale is coming up with a film 'Ganvesh' which he will be directing.
'Ganvesh' will have a rural background and talks about a school-going kid who gets selected to deliver an Independence Day speech in his school on August 15.
What the child's down trodden family goes through to acquire an uniform (ganvesh in Marathi) for the purpose is what the film is all about.
The script, including screenplay and dialogues, is written by Tejas Ghadge. Jagdale has roped in three main actors of 'Jogwa'-
Mukta Barve,
Kishore Kadam and
Smita Tambe, in his film.
It will be interesting to see whether the team is able to create 'Jogwa' like magic again with 'Ganvesh' on the big screen.
Watch Mukta Barve and Upendra Limaye's romantic number 'Jeev Rangala' from 'Jogwa'. The song has been crooned by Hariharan.
