SI misbehaves with Puri's wife Lavanya?

Director Puri Jagannadh's wife Lavanya and actress Ulka Gupta were allegedly harassed by Sub Inspector Shankmukhachari of Paloncha Town PS in Khammam. Lavanya has been camped in Khammam to supervise the shooting of her son Akash's upcoming film. According to unit members, SI Shankmukhachari has been causing trouble for a while now.
'The SI has been creating nuisance by entering rooms of unit members and using foul language.Things turned ugly when one night he barged into the room where Lavanya was put up in the name of a 'police raid'.He misbehaved and used vulgar language. He said, 'This is a police raid. Don't you know why we raid lodges?',' alleges a source.
Puri Jagannadh took up the matter with DGP Anurag Sharma. It is learnt that five policemen have been deployed for security of the film unit. However, police sources in Khammam deny knowing
anything about the matter.
'There has been no written complaint filed against SI Shankukhacharya. We learnt about this incident only from the news,' said a police official.
