I doubt the Indian team will make it to World Cup finals says Suniel Shetty

Besides acting, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty loves sports and is a fitness freak. He was recently in the capital and was heard sharing his views about the ongoing ICC World Cup Tournament.He strongly expressed his disappointment over the selection of players for the Indian cricket team in the World Cup matches.

He stressed, “Frankly, there is no more josh left to watch the upcoming world cup matches kyunki humare indian team mein jo ache players the unko drop kar diya gaya hai..toh kya fyada dekhne ka match. I feel very disappointed and angry that experienced players like Yuvraj and Zaheer Khan have been dropped out of the Indian squad for the World Cup tournament. It is sad to see that such experienced players who have contributed so much to the Indian cricket team , today have no place in the upcoming world cup tournament. Yuvraj who has played an integral role in 2011 World Cup has been dropped from playing the world cup come as a huge disappointment. I simply don’t understand the logic of the selection team and the Cricket board members who have taken decision to opt out some experienced players from the Indian team."
He further continues, “It is nice to give chance to young talented players but I wonder how much they will be able to perform well on the field. The lineup of new players like Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the teams look too fresh to play for the World Cup. They still need a lot of practice and it’s too early to send them for the World Cup. Sadly we also have very few bowlers in the team so wonder how we can win the matches."
Talking about Virat Kohli , Suniel adds, “He is young talented and a good sportsman. Virat surely has a bright future ahead.”

The actor predicts that Indian team will not be able to make it to finals, on the other hand he strongly believes that South Africa will win the World Cup trophy. “I really doubt whether India will be able to make it to the finals. It will be a tough match. I strongly feel that South African team will win the trophy. According to me the four teams that will reach the semi-finals will include South Africa, Australia and New Zealand,” admits Suniel.
