VADODARA: MS University's (MSU) Hansa Mehta Library (HML) has got access to the prestigious e-library of International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a period of two years.
IMF has created a new platform for the users to provide open access to all its datasets that include international financial statistics, balance of payment statistics, government finance statistics and direction of trade statistics.

IMF's e-library is an indispensable tool for economics research and analysis, offering the entire catalogue of IMF publications electronically, bundled into collections for easy purchase.
IMF runs both systems - the old e-library and the new dissemination system - in parallel for three months to help transition users to the new platform.
"With HML getting the access to IMF e-library, users from across the campus will have an open access to this new platform availed by IMF," a release issued by MSU said.
IMF's e-library helps to simplify analysis and research with direct access to the IMF's periodicals, books, working papers and studies and data and statistical tools.
"Users at the campus will be able to find information and perspective on macroeconomics, globalization, development, trade and aid, technical assistance, demographics, emerging markets, policy advice, poverty reduction and so much more," the release further said.
With HML available the facility on its website, the facility will provide multiple search options and users will be able to browse the information needed by content type, by countries or regions, topics, publication series, date and keywords.
