Eminent author Dwana Sastry asked young writers to invite criticism to enhance their writing skills and enthral readers by producing thought provoking books. He attended as chief guest for the 17th anniversary of ‘Katha Nilayam’ on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that many writers were not in a position to accept criticism while avoiding review of their books. ‘Katha Nilayam’ founder Kalipatnam Ramarao, institution president B.V.A. Ramarao Naidu and secretary Dasari Ramachandra Rao felt that many eminent writers used to take the opinion of senior writers after publication of their books. They urged the media to give wide publicity for reviews on new books to create enthusiasm among readers. Writers Attada Appala Naidu, B.S. Ramulu and others participated in the meeting.
