3-day event marks Swami Dayanand birthday

A blood donation camp was organised on Sunday to conclude the celebrations.

To celebrate the 191st birthday of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, Arya Samaj organised a three-day event which concluded on Sunday. A shobha yatra was taken out in Model Town area on Friday and a Mahayagya programme was held on Saturday, the day on which the birthday falls, in Model Town park.

A blood donation camp was organised on Sunday to conclude the celebrations where Swamu Sampurnanand and Mahatma Satyanand Munjal were present among others. The three-day event was marked as Rishi Bodh Utsav.

Telangana has the highest number of toppers, followed by Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. However, states like West Bengal, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh did not have any 100 percentilers this year.
