Komal in a jet ski accident

An accident that took place on the set of Kannada film Goa had the cast and crew worried for one of its lead actor Komal. He fell off the jet ski while trying to ride a wave on the sea, and he and the upturned motor boat had to be rescued.
"I had shot for a lot of scenes on the jet ski for my older film Chamkaisi Chindi Udaisi. That was shot in Thailand and because of that I had kind of become a pro at balancing myself on the waves.The accident on the sea in Goa was probably due to my over confidence. I was so sure that I could still do all that I did back in Thailand a few years ago. However, I misjudged the turns and instead had the entire motor boat also over turned. A bit of the petrol had leaked before we were rescued. But precautions and immediate help ensured the damage was not beyond control," recalls Komal.
