Funny man Deven Bhojani in a non-comic role

Deven Bhojani will be seen breaking away from his comic image with Sudhir Sharma’s Gulmohar Grand, a show set in the hotel industry. Featuring actors Gaurav Chopraa and Aakanksha Singh, it will also feature Deven in a cameo.

The actor, who was last seen in Bh Se Bhade, will play an eccentric guest of the hotel. “I can’t take up a daily soap because of my commitments. This project requires only a week from me,” says the actor, who directed Pukaar.“I found the concept intriguing as I have travelled extensively. The hotel industry seemed great to be explored for storytelling,” he adds. The actor is happy to explore a genre that he doesn’t get to attempt much given his image on screen. “For a change, it’s not a comic character. I will be sporting a stubble for the first time,” he says.
