In the Valentine Week, when the whole world is going gushy over their loved ones, it is interesting to see Marathi superstar Atul Kulkarni giving a different angle to this phenomenon.
The thinking actor, who is known for his philosophical views along with his acting acumen, recently tweeted: After a point what really, really matters in man woman relationships is Respect.
Love is comparatively irrelevant. And hence overrated ...
All those frenzied lovers, who have gone berserk buying expensive gifts and cards for their darlings, may not agree with Atuls matter of fact statement, but the fact remains that mutual respect and understanding goes a long way in keeping a relationship stable for decades. While love goes out of the window at the first obstacle, it is the mutual respect that keeps two people bonded forever.
Post his last Marathi release, 'Happy Journey', which was directed by 'Aiyyaa' director Sachin Kundalkar, and had actors Priya Bapat and Pallavi Subhash as its lead actresses, Atul is yet to announce his next project.
