    Cold conditions prevail in Rajasthan; Churu coldest at 6.5 degree

    The minimum temperatures at Srigangangar, Pilani and Udaipur were recorded at 7.0, 8.7 and 9.4 degree Celsius respectively.

    JAIPUR: Cold conditions continued to prevail in Rajasthan, with Churu being the coldest place in the state at 6.5 degree Celsius, MeT officials said here today.

    Nights and days experienced extreme drop in temperatures within the state, a MeT report said.

    The minimum temperatures at Srigangangar, Pilani and Udaipur were recorded at 7.0, 8.7 and 9.4 degree Celsius respectively.

    Elsewhere the minimum temperatures settled between 10.2 and 14.1 degrees Celsius which included Ajmer, Jaipur, Kota, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Mount Abu and Bikaner.

    The maximum temperature in most parts of the state in last 24 hours ranged between 23 and 29 degree Celsius.

    MeT department has forecast that mercury may fluctuate by few notches in next 24 hours in the state.
