Yash to play one of the most ambitious men of the 70s
Yash’s next is an action drama set in 70s
We were the first to let you know that Yash is going to collaborate with Ugramm director Prashanth Neel after Masterpiece. Here’s an update on the same. The film, titled KGF, is going to be an action drama, which will be set in the 1970s. The makers of Ninnindale, who are also doing Masterpiece, will be backing this project. “The film is set in the late 1970s.
It is a big budget film and, honestly, I never imagined this to be done in Kannada. I’m glad to have found people who understand my vision. Yash has begun researching for this role, as it involves a lot of nuances in terms of characterization,” says Prashanth, who hints that the film will roll later this year, once the pre-production work is done.
Ask Prashanth if the film is based on a real-life person or incident and he says, “There are inspirations, but I cannot reveal more than that. Yash plays one of the most ambitious men at that moment and the story has global implications is all that I can say.”
