East Central Railway (ECR) has decided to divert and short-terminate a few trains due to ongoing non-interlocking (NI) work being carried out at Gaya railway yard under Mughalsarai division of the zone.

PATNA: East Central Railway (ECR) has decided to divert and short-terminate a few trains due to ongoing non-interlocking (NI) work being carried out at Gaya railway yard under Mughalsarai division of the zone.
While Rajendra Nagar Terminal-Hatia Express (18623-18624), instead of running through Gaya, will run via Jhajha-Kulti-Dhanbad from February 10 to 15, Patna-Hatia Express (18625-18626) will also run via the same route from Wednesday, said ECR CPRO Arvind Rajak.

Rajak said Patna-Dhanbad Ganga-Damodar Express (13329-13330) has also been diverted to Jhajha-Kulti route from February 14 to 16. Similarly, Rajgir-Varanasi Buddh Purnima Express (15109-151010) has been diverted via Buxar-Patna route till February 15, he said.
Railways has also decided to short terminate and originate a few passenger trains running between Patna and Gaya at Chakand station on the PG section of Danapur division. These passenger trains include Patna-Gaya passenger (53213-53214) and Gaya-Patna passenger trains (63259-63242) while Gaya-Dhanbad-Asansol passenger train will terminate at Manpur, he said.
Trains restored: Two passenger trains (55246-55241) running on Sonepur-Barauni route were restored on Wednesday to cater to common people. these trains were cancelled due to foggy weather condition in December 2014, the CPRO said.
