JAMMU, Feb 10: Dr Ajaz Ahmad Shah has been elected as president of Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) while Dr Parveen Akhter Lone has been elected as vice president. Dr Altaf H Malik was elected as honorary general secretary.
Dr Babar Ali Shah was elected as joint secretary, Dr Shahid Hassan as honorary treasurer, Dr Asiq Ali as honorary editor and Dr Irshad Ahmad as representative of AOMSI.
The executive members included Dr Ajaz A Naik, Dr Ahtesham Qureshi, Dr Amrit Pal Singh, Dr Rizwan-ur-Rashid, Dr Amina Samoon, Dr Abdul Latief Najar and Dr Shah Shah-i-Jahan.
A release said the AOMSI has approved Jammu and Kashmir State Chapter.
The members hailed Dr Parveen Akhter Lone, Associate Professor and HoD of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Indira Gandhi Dental College and Hospital Jammu for her efforts in membership drive from Jammu.
