State Bank of India has donated ₹8.6 crore to the Bengaluru-based Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation (SCF) to procure PET CT scanning equipment as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative. SCF is a not-for-profit organisation that exclusively helps cancer patients receive optimal treatment at affordable costs, a bank statement said.
