24-year-old married woman ends life

NAGPUR: Chameli Verma, 24, ended life by setting herself on fire at her residence at Dipty Signal on Sunday. She was alone at home along with her three-year-old son when she took the drastic step. Her husband Nakul had gone to his native place.
Chameli was rushed to Mayo Hospital by neighbours, but was declared brought dead. Her statement could not be recorded.Kalamna police registered the case as an accidental death. Police are now waiting for Chameli’s husband and others to return from their native place. The reason behind her suicide is yet to be ascertained.
