Aanchal Munjal approached to reprise Pooja Bhatt’s role from Daddy

In what is seen as Ram Kapoor's comeback vehicle on television, seven months after Bade Achhe Laggte Hain (BALH) ended, the show apparently based on Daddy (1989), will have Aanchal Munjal reprising Pooja Bhatt’s role in it.

Interestingly, Aanchal has played Ram’s daughter Pihu in Bade Achhe Laggte Hain for about a month. Says a source associated with the show, “The makers of the show are very keen on casting Aanchal as Ram’s daughter in the show.The actress is shooting for a Bollywood project currently and is trying to work on her dates to accommodate the TV show.”

Aanchal didn’t revert to our text message. As reported earlier, Ram’s character will be on the lines of Anupam Kher’s in the movie.
