JAMMU, Feb 8: The birthday of Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri ji Maharaj was celebrated at Satsang Bhawan Sikanderpur Kothey with religious fervour.
Besides bhajan, kirtan, drama party, Shri Guru Ravi Dass Convent School, Jaswan presented colourful cultural program depicting life and mission of Shri Ravi Dass ji Maharaj and valuable contribution made by Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giriji Maharaj towards eradication of social eradication of social evils like consumption of liquor, dowry system, feticide of girl child, illiteracy etc.
Vijay Lochan, president, Sham Lal Bassan, Kesar Singh, Sudesh Kumar , D D Shivgotra, C L Bansal, Parshatam Thappa, and R C Menia also Parshotam highlighted the contribution made by Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri ji Maharaj toward unity of Ravidasia samaj, eradication of social evils, message of universal brotherhood, sincere efforts for establishing Begampur renaissance university.
On the occasion, prizes were distributed among students of Guru Ravi Dass Convent School, Jaswan and Tapasay Art Drama Party.
