Motorcyclist dies
A motorcyclist, who was injured in a road accident in Gowrivakkam on Saturday evening, died at a private hospital in Chromepet on Sunday. Kamal (26) of Sembakkam and Muthukumaraswamy (37) were hit by a Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus on Velachery Main Road.
Kamal succumbed to multiple injuries.
Drone seized from Chinese national
A drone used by a Chinese national was seized by the city police on Sunday.
The 27-year-old Chinese youth, identified as Suqiant and working in a private firm in Sriperumbudur, had come to Chennai a month ago.
He was seen operating a drone on the Marina on Sunday afternoon. Policemen seized it and also questioned Suqiant, who produced all the valid papers of purchasing the drone.
The drone has been kept at the office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mylapore.
