Kin fails to raise funds for surgery
MYSURU: A private hospital treating Seetharam, 19, who was injured in a freak electrical accident, on Saturday postponed his reconstruction surgery as the family has no funds.
The surgery is slated for Monday provided the family can rustle up the funds.
The family and the private company where the boy is employed were unable to deposit the money on time and hence doctors postponed the surgery, family sources told STOI.

Seetharam suffered multiple maxillary fractures and has to undergo at least seven surgeries. He has lost his teeth; gums are badly injured, nose is dislocated and tongue is sliced into three. He is conscious but unable to talk.
Youngsters associated with a political party extended financial assistance but the family requires nearly Rs 7 lakh for the surgeries. His condition is stable.
