PALANPUR: Enraged over his wife's affair, a man allegedly killed her, their two children and his distant cousin brother in Tunadar village of Aravalli district on Friday morning.
After killing the four, 32-year-old Bhala Parmar committed suicide.
Aravalli police said that Parmar suspected that his wife Kokila had an affair with his cousin Rajendra Parmar.
Bhala went on a stabbing spree and killed Kokila, five-year-old son Rahul and seven-year-old daughter Kinjal. He also murdered Rajendra. Later, he consumed some poisonous substance and ended his life.
On Thursday evening, villagers grew suspicious as the couple did not return from the field. They informed the sarpanch and began to search for them. To their shock, they found the bodies lying in a pool of blood on the outskirts of the village.
Deputy superintendent of police, Aravalli, Kishore Baroliya said, "At about 9 am, Malpur police station received a call informing about bodies of four persons, including that of a woman and two children, lying in a field."
It is suspected that Parmar attacked them with sharp weapon and fled from the spot.
