In Churu, BJP claims 4 panchayat samiti seats

CHURU: BJP has captured zila parishad of Churu and also won in four panchayat samitis while Congress has won in two.
Out of 27 wards of zila parishad in Churu BJP have won in 21 wards while 5 wards have gone in favour of Congress. The rest one seat went to Independent candidate.
For panchayat samitis Churu, Rajgarh, Taranagar and Sardarshahar panchayat samitis have gone in favour of BJP while Sujangarh and Bidasar panchayat samitis have been won over by Congress party.
Archna Singh, district electoral officer, Churu said that election for zila pramukh and pradhan for various panchayat samitis will take place on Saturday February 7 for which nomination can be filed by 11 am. Scrutiny will take place at 11.30 am and nomination can be withdrawn by 1 pm. Voting will be conducted from 3 to 5 pm and result will be announced immediately after the counting.
