Urgent repair works on a burst main at Sawani in Nausori will cause temporary water supply interruption today.

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) advises its customers living around Sawani in Nausori that that there will be an interruption in water supply today, Friday 6th February 2015, from 9am till 5pm.

Impacted areas include:

• ACS Secondary
• Navuso Secondary School
• Sawani Fijian School
• Sawani Indian School
• Navuso Primary School
• Januma Hill
• Sawani Hill 1, 2 and 3
• Koroi Rd, R C Sharma Rd, Waila Feeder Rd and Lal Singh Rd
• Hookers Subdivision
• Salababa and Duilomaloma
• Corbett Avenue
• Jalim Avenue
• Old Butter Factory
• Waila Treatment Plant (Waila City)

The interruption in supply is due to repair works being carried out on a burst main at Sawani.

The Authority advises its customers residing in these areas to store water for their immediate needs

and use it wisely during this temporary disruption in supply.

However, water carts will be on standby to service the affected areas as and when the need arises.

Supply is expected to normalise by 6pm, tomorrow (06/02)

The Authority highly regrets inconvenience caused to its customers.
