They have travelled far and wide in their motor home with their dog Maximus and have visited hundreds of small towns along the way.
Michelle and Michael were particularly impressed with Grenfell and everything about it.
They arrived in Town on Tuesday January 27 and looked for a place to set up camp for the night, they have a fully self contained Caravan and prefer not to stay in Caravan Parks, they spoke with the ladies at the Information Centre in Grenfell and they suggested the Railway Station.
Once Michelle and Michael arrived at the Railway Station they thought it was perfect, especially with Maximus in toe.
They had only planned on staying in Grenfell for one night as they were on their way to Forbes, however the photo (left) was taken on Friday morning, January 30, after deciding to stay the entire week.
They could not get over, and said they were “Blown Away” by the friendliness in the Main Street and in fact the entire town. Michael was experiencing some back pain on the Wednesday and visited Grenfell Pharmacy where our Pharmacist, Matt West, was very thorough and extremely helpful, he gave Michael details of our local Acupuncture Clinic.
Michael then proceeded to Karen Perrott’s clinic and he said “She was great, she fixed me up and today I am feeling fantastic” .
They also stayed and bought shoes from Grenfell Shoes and Meat from Lyle Walker, that they said was amazing, and felt right at home.
Michael said “We have been to so many towns and we definitely have found Grenfell the friendliest” Michelle added that “Grenfell is the Pinnacle of friendliness, we will definitely be back”
Michael and Michelle left on Friday to head to their next destination feeling relaxed and happy to have visited and spent time in our great town.
