1. Saradha chit fund scam
It was a conversation between Union Home Secretary Anil Goswami and Matang Sinh, an accused in the Saradha scam and a former Union Minister, recorded by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at the time of the latter’s arrest in Kolkata last Saturday, that is said to have sealed Goswami’s fate.

2. Chambal dacoit
The man they took away was Surendra alias Dhara Singh, an alleged Chambal dacoit with a Rs-85,000 bounty on his head, a fugitive who had been ferrying packing cases for Amul ice cream from Mumbai while hiding out in the shanty for the last three years.
