‘Clean India’ campaign

The officials and staff of the State Revenue Department participated in the ‘Clean India’ campaign in government hospitals and government departments and other public places across the district recently.

S. Aneesh Sekhar, Sub-Collector, Mettur, led the revenue officials and staff, who undertook the work of cleaning the children’s park maintained by the Mettur Municipality in the town.

They removed the garbage and cleaned the bushes. Mr. Aneesh Sekhar said it is the task of every one to maintain the park clean.

He said steps will be taken to improved the park into a model park.

In Yercaud, the revenue staff undertook the cleaning of the Gandhi Park.
