Transport, Roads and Buildings Minister Sidda Raghava Rao on Wednesday exhorted the department officials to take up repairs to state highways on a war footing. Reviewing the progress of ongoing works with department officials along with TDP MLA from Parchur Y. Sambasiva Rao here, Mr. Raghava Rao said that roads were in a bad shape due to their neglect by the previous Congress regime.
He wanted them to take corrective steps in all identified black spots, including sign boards in the next 10 to 15 days in an effort to minimise road accidents to the least.
