ATM looted from Mandsaur found from field in Neemuch

An ATM belonging to State Bank of India, that was looted on Friday morning from Digaanv area of Mandsaur district was recovered from Manasa area of adjoining Neemuch district on Wednesday.

INDORE: An ATM belonging to State Bank of India, that was looted on Friday morning from Digaanv area of Mandsaur district was recovered from Manasa area of adjoining Neemuch district on Wednesday.
The damaged machine was found in an agricultural field in Bartun area in Manasa, after which the Mandsaur police was alerted, superintendent of police, Neemuch Rudolf Alvares told TOI.

“We’ve got some leads,” said Alvares.
Looters had allegedly taken away the ATM containing Rs 14 lakh cash from Digaanv in Afzalpur area, some 225 km from Indore.
A CCTV fitted on the cash dispenser had gone with the machine, it made job of cops pretty tough in the absence of footage.
According to SP Mandsaur Manoj Kumar Sharma, we are working closely with both Neemuch police as well as Panna police, as recently an SBI ATM was looted in Panna in an identical manner.
