In the past 24 months Mansons International Pvt. Ltd. has played a pivotal role in Prahaar Racing from Saraswati College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai, by providing financial as well as technical support.
From axle end spindles and gear box housings being machined in their tool room to fabrication and precision argon welding of the safety roll-cage in their suspension system facility the enthusiastic students of Prahaar Racing have been busy at various Mansons International facilities, planning, manufacturing and preparing their car for the Supra SAEINDIA Formula Student race.
TPR-600 is the car produced by Prahaar Racing for the competition. It was designed strictly by following the guidelines given by the SAE organization, and it was built to meet the need for high speed and high performance by auto-enthusiasts within a budget price. The car uses an air restricted Honda CBR 600R engine which was specially imported from the US. Since the competition requires teams use an engine under 610cc capacity, this four cylinder, 0.6 litre heart was selected in order to ensure optimum performance.
The car has a max power of 79.93 Bhp @ 11000 rpm and churns out a max torque of 64.79 Nm at 7500 rpm. Each and every aspect and component was thought of and designed indigenously by the students.
