JAMMU, Feb 3: In the 7th season of Pandit Uma Dutt Sangeet Mahotsav organized by Nirvana Academy of Cultural Club, over 50 students of Jodhamal Public School showcased their talent in Solo Instrumental (Casio), Guitar Light Music (Vocal), Solo Singing and were adjudged winners in the various categories.
In Casio Solo, the young musicians, who rocked were Mian Mohammad Raza (1st), Kartik Sanyal (1st), Saksham Kapoor (1st ), Kanishk Kapoor (1st ), Prateek Singh (1st ), Gauri Sharma (2nd ), Prisha Chandok (2nd), Aadhya Sambyal (2nd), Koustav Sharma (2nd ), Ananya Mahajan (2nd), Amrit Hansraj (2nd), Lavanya (2nd), Ishaan Prabhakar (2nd), Muskaan Chowdhary and Snigdha Gupta (3rd).
In Solo Golden Guitar, Dhananjay, Navtej Singh, Rehan Goyal, Aarushi, Suvinay Jain and Vanshika Bindroo won the first prize, while Siya Mahajan, Paarth Sharma, Vinamlin, Saarthak Malhotra and Aniran Saraf won the second prize and the third prize went to Apoorv Ghai, Mayank and Shivay Mahajan.
In Light Music, the young musicians Kartavya Mahajan and Bhumika won the first prize, while Ayush Pandita, Vinamra Jamwal, Abhijot Singh and Pragati Sharma got the second prize.
The School Principal, Trilok Singh Bist felicitated the students in a special assembly for this landmark achievement and also congratulated Mr Deepak and Subash Dey for preparing the students.
