Two houses burgled

NAGPUR: Burglars struck two houses on Monday afternoon in separate areas. Mahesh Hirani’s residence at Karve Nagar was burgled and cash and valuables worth Rs 2.55 lakh were taken away.
Hirani had away at work while his wife had gone to the market when thieves broke open the main door lock and made away with the valuables. The theft came to light around 3 pm and Hirani reported the matter to Sonegaon police.
In the other incident, Rajendra Bhujade’s residence at Shri Mahalaxmi Nagar, New Narsala Road was burgled when Bhujade was in the office. He claimed loss of cash and valuables worth Rs 66,000. Hudkeshwar police has registered a case.
