DKTE CoE of Nonwovens to buy Yamuna finishing machine

Vapi-based, Yamuna Machine Works Ltd will supply finishing machines for needle punched nonwovens for the ‘Centre of Excellence’ (CoE) in Nonwovens set up at DKTE in Ichalkaranji.

Yamuna Machine will install finishing machines with Thermo-fusion capabilities and Heat Setting Calendering to utilise capabilities of the Truetzschler needle punch line already commissioned at the CoE.

Yamuna Machine Works will deliver the Thermo-fusion line and Heat Setting Calender by April 2015 and is confident that the lines will be commissioned by June 2015.

Prof CA Patil, Director at DKTE CoE in Nonwovens said he is extremely happy with the Yamuna Machine Works Ltd being their partner in their prestigious project.

Prof Patil further added that, they prefer to work with strong Indian nonwovens machineries producers and only in case, they are unable to find such suppliers, they will prefer strong European supplier.

Yamuna Machine Works said it is active in the field of nonwovens for many years and has strong references in the Indian nonwovens industry.

Prashant Mangukia, director of Yamuna Machine promised that his company will do everything possible for the success of the lines to be supplied.

He is also confident that DKTE’s association with Yamuna will be beneficial for all stake holders and for R&D conducted on nonwovens at the CoE.

The DKTE CoE also has plans to buy spunlace, chemical, SMS, coating and lamination line, fibre retrieving lines in industrial width to complete their infrastructure for prototyping and incubation.

Established in 1990, Yamuna is a leading manufacturer of machinery for textile processing, finishing and associated segments.

All its products are developed, produced and tested in-house and after final assembly, the machines are thoroughly inspected for perfect operation of all mechanical, electrical & electronic parts. (AR)
