Court issues NBW against SP leader in murder case

A local court has issued a non-bailable warrant against a Samajwadi Party leader in connection with a murder case.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Narender Kumar Sunday issued the non-bailable warrant against former SP district president Mehrajuddin and has directed the police to produce him before the court in connection with murder of one Aleem.

According to the prosecution, Aleem was shot dead at Tewra village in Kakroli in the district on January 28, 2013. A case was registered against seven persons, including Mehrajuddin following which a chargesheet was filed. However, Mehrajuddin failed to appear in the court.
