Tulip Joshi starrer TV show Airlines will be seeing a premature end.The show, which was supposed to be a 26-episode series and was shot extensively in Gurgaon and Noida, will be winding up in 20 episodes today . According to sources, "Airlines failed to get the ratings. It started off with much promise but the storyline never picked up. In fact, there was supposed to be a double role for Himmanshoo Ashok Malhotra, but all that was scrapped.
The cast and crew wrapped up the shoot on January 1."

I think the channel had another show coming up, which is why they decided to end the show. But it was an amazing experience to shoot in Delhi."

Kumar Vishwas was also approached to appear in a few episodes, but since the show is ending prematurely , the idea was dropped. Prabudh, business manager of Vishwas, confirmed the news and said, "Initially , they wanted him to play a role, but we told them that he won't play a different character. It was then decided that he would appear as himself in a couple of episodes and almost everything was finalized. However, we were told that due to lack of TV ratings, they are ending the show."
