Karan Kundra, who is judging Roadies this season, admits that he will not do shows that keep dragging on for years without a storyline. “TV actors have no life these days,” opines the actor, adding, “We are practically living on the sets, shooting 12 hours in far-flung locations like Naigaon, Vasai and Mira Road. Having done this for some time now, I feel there is no creative satisfaction in daily soaps.
What you are promised is very different from the way your character turns out as the show progresses, which is again influenced by the ratings. Also, there is no scope for performance as fiction shows on television do not give enough time to work on a character.”
