Indore’s art lovers were in for a visual treat at this recent event organised at Pritam Lal Dua ‘Rang Jashn’ where 25 local artists exhibited their artworks. This ‘Art at Heart’ exhibition saw paintings inspired by nature, musical murals as well as local people.
There was also a rare found stone carving craft called ‘Linoleum’, which was brought here by senior artist Chand Shekhar for the art lovers of the city.
Said artist Venujpal, who displayed her art here, “I have always been inspired by nature and music and I bring these subjects alive in my paintings. I was glad to display them at this exhibition, which was not restricted to any particular theme.” Anupama Teji, a city-based artist who displayed her art at the exhibition, added, “I am happy that people are appreciating my work in this exhibition. It is a huge boost to an artist’s talent.”
