The votes are in and you, the good readers of Independent.ie, have decided that Diego Costa is the dirtiest player in the world right now.
The Chelsea stamper beat off stiff competition from none other than Luis Suarez, who came in in second place.
Both have their own identity, Costa has the stamp and Suarez the bite, but the Chelsea striker topped our online poll with 38.61% saying he was the dirtiest player in the world while Suarez accumulated 15.82%.
Joey Barton is the third dirtiest player according to our readers with 16.62 of the votes while Real Madrid duo Pepe (21.98%) and Sergio Ramos (3.22%) were next in line.
