Rahasya
Rahasya is inspired from the infamous Arushi murder case

Rahasya is inspired by the infamous Aarushi murder case. The only difference being that Gupta's story is set in Mumbai and the murder mystery finally gets solved in the end.

Ayesha Mahajan is a teenage daughter of two doctor parents. Things change for the family when Ayesha is murdered one night and the house's new help also disappears the same night. The police begins to investigate and Ayesha's dad Dr. Sachin Mahajan comes under their radar. He is put behind the bars but later CBI takes over the case.

CBI officer Sunil Paraskar reviews the entire case and the climax will completely blow your mind.

Kay Kay Menon does a splendid job as the CBI officer in the film. It is interesting to see Ashish Vidyarthi in the role of Dr Sachin Mahajan. The actor has been missing from the silver screen from quite sometime. Even Tisca Chopra and Mita Vashisht are commendable in their performances.

The tight script is the high point of the film. Though the first half is quite predictable, it's after the entry of Kay Kay Menon that the film picks up pace and the interesting twists and turns keep you glued to the seat.

Rahasya reinforces stereotypes and its loose screenplay also come under some of the film's shortcomings.

Despite the length of the film, director Manish Gupta has maintained the pace of Rahasya. His hold on the camera and the script are quite evident throughout the film.

If you are interested in murder mystery, then do go watch Rahasya.
