SSC announces 62,390 job vacancies : Selection process underway
SSC: Selection criteria

Staff Selection Commission has invited applications for recruitment at 62,390 posts. Candidates who wish to apply should hold a matriculation certificate and should be between 18 and 23 years of age as on January 1, 2015.

The vacancies are to be filled up in Indo Tibet Border Police Force (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Assam Rifles.
Police force wise bifurcation:
BSF: 22,517 posts
CISF: 5,000 posts
CRPF: 24,588 posts
SSB: 6,224 posts
ITBP: 3,101 posts
Assam Riffle: 600 posts
NIA: 86 posts
SSF: 274 posts

Selection Process for the same is:
Physical Standard Test (PST);
Physical Efficiency Test (PET);
Written Exam (October 4);
Medical Exam.

The candidates will have to qualify all the aforementioned levels in order to be selected.

Those willing to apply should log in to the official website and apply, online through SSC system of online application processing (SOAP).
