Khosa kicks off the new rugby season

The Khosa Rugby Club is excited to kick off the new rugby season.

Khosa Club’s senior rugby players are ready to rumble as they are practicing hard for the upcoming playoffs.

The Senior Rugby Club was established in 2009 and has been working hard the past six years to gain recognition as the competitive club they are today by delivering the stars of tomorrow.

The rugby coaches strive towards developing the players and achieving the goals to transform rugby as we know it.

“Our senior teams participate in the Golden Lions Rugby Union’s Senior Grand Challenge and the under 20 and second teams played in the finals in 2012, 2013 and 2014,” said Carin Lox from Khosa Club.

The rugby season has kicked off and is in full swing with practices every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm.

Another exciting division is the Khosa Junior Rugby Club founded in 2014. The team thus far has achieved outstanding results on every level. The junior team not only is proud of its achievements last year but also of its dedicated coaches, some of whom coached at provincial level and are now involved in growing the young talent.

The junior rugby season will kick off on 13 February and registration opens at 5pm.

Khosa invites all the youngsters to be part of this enjoyable game that helps develop our community’s talent. For more information e-mail registration@khosajuniors.co.za.
