Kuljinder Sidhu, whose debut film
Sadda Haq languished in wait state for several months says that the Board is tough on new producers.
"I am not saying I support a particular film, all I am saying is that the censor board is very tough on new producers," says Sidhu, "There are films like
Haider which also broach a sensitive subject, yet are easily given clearance. While a film like my
Sadda Haq was banned for many months. They treat producers differently and their treatment is based on person to person. I think its a very subjective attitude and it should not be the case."
