“Game of Thrones” star Michiel Huisman will star opposite Teresa Palmer in romantic action thriller “2:22” which starts shooting next week in studios in Sydney, Australia.
The Paul Currie-directed picture was announced last year with Benjamin Walker in the role that Huisman has now taken over. Sam Reid (“Belle,” “’71,” and the upcoming “Astronaut Wives Club”) also joins the cast.
Huisman portrays a man whose life is derailed when an ominous pattern of events repeats itself in exactly the same manner every day, ending at precisely 2:22 p.m. He falls for a beautiful woman whose life is threatened by these strange events, forcing him to solve the mystery of 2:22.
The movie is produced by Walk The Walk Entertainment’s Steve Hutensky, Paul Currie, Wild Eddie’s Jodi Matterson and Icon’s Bruce Davey. Executive producers are Bill Mechanic, Todd Wagner, Ben Cosgrove, Jackie O’Sullivan, Todd Stein, Garrett Kelleher, Charlie O’Carroll and David Whealy.
Good Universe is handling international sales with Icon releasing in Australia. UTA represents the film in the U.S.
