Dwaraka Badarika Ashram Peethadhipathi Sri Vidyanarayana Theertha Swamy will perform idol consecration and “kumbhabhishekam” in Sri Ganapathi, Sri Subrahmanyeswara, Veerabhadra Sametha Sri Sundareswara Swamy temple at the pilgrim centre Kanyatheertham in Peddadandlur village in Jammalamadugu mandal on February 9.
The three-day festivities would commence at 8 a.m. on February 7 with ‘go pooja’, Ganganayanam, Ganapathi and Matruka pooja, penchagavya prokshana, trisoola pratishta, installation of main kalasam and yantra abhishekam, priest of Kanyatheertham Kaipa Hariharanatha Sarma said on Thursday.
Chaturveda parayanam, mahanyasa poorvaka Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam, Ganapathi, Adityadi navagraha, Rudra, Sarvathobhadra mandal, vasthu and avahitha devatha homams would be performed from 8 a.m. on February 8, he said. Dhwaja Sikhara pratishta would be performed at 3 p.m. on Feb. 8 and Mahasnapanam, adhivasa and prathinyasa homam would be performed in the evening. Garta pooja, yantra, vigraha, prana patishta and bimba kalanyasam would be done from 5.30 a.m.
