Comedian Amy Poehler was poking fun at Harvard and its famed Hasty Pudding Theatricals student group while receiving the annual Woman of the Year award from the troupe.
Poehler joked at Thursday’s roast that she never expected to be feted by the Ivy League school that she raised a “middle finger” to whenever she passed by growing up in nearby Burlington, Massachusetts.
She also poked fun at the fact that there were no female actors in Thursday’s performance. She wore a Boston College hat while rapping and did an improv skit with an actor dressed as North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
Her “Parks and Recreation” co-star Chris Pratt is Hasty Pudding’s Man of the Year. He gets his own parade and roast Feb. 6.
