Liberia’s Finance Minister Amara Konneh said the nation’s economy has managed to survive the Ebola outbreak because of the sound policies the government has put in place.

The structure of the economy must be changed, he said, according to comments on the Ministry of Information’s Twitter account. The currency has had one of the stablest periods on record, he said, without specifying time period.
