TraceSecurity Prepares to Support 2015 Channel Partner Program Growth

TraceSecurity, a leader in cloud-based IT governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management solutions, today announced that Mike Carpenter has joined the TraceSecurity executive leadership team as Vice President of Channel Sales. The appointment of Mr. Carpenter, former senior leader and consultant at KPMG, demonstrates TraceSecurity’s focus and commitment to building a premier channel program that enables partners to derive maximum value within their information security and compliance practice.

At KPMG, Mr. Carpenter led the firm’s Southeast Consulting Practice, and launched and grew the Information Risk Management unit from $1 million to more than $50 million in revenues. In his 16 years at KPMG, Mike managed more than 500 professionals and was actively involved in many system implementations and transformation projects from planning, strategy, delivery and risk for clients that included GE, Equifax, Bell South, Turner, TSYS, Rock Tenn and SunTrust.

As TraceSecurity’s Vice President of Channel Sales, Mr. Carpenter has a strategic and transformational role that extends well beyond the company to the market at large. He is responsible for optimizing the company’s innovative TraceCSO solution as the channel’s discovery and management platform for their IT security and compliance solutions. His leadership role includes channel recruitment, training and support, as well as the development and guidance for critical processes, such as sales automation, market segmentation and the integration of TraceSecurity’s information security services as a channel offering.
