Adventure Carnival hosted at Forest Hill Golf and Country Club in Chandigarh

On the weekend of January 24 to 26 Chandigarh was treated to thrilling adventure at the Adventure Carnival hosted at Forest Hill Golf and Country Club (FHR).
Teeming with residents eager to experience the adrenaline rush gathered at FHR, the event revived their sporty spirit with activities like zipline, rappelling, horse/camel rides, archery and paint ball shooting, river and Burma bridge crossing, mountain hiking and biking, hanging machaan etc.

Besides adventure the food, which was laid out as the Sunday brunch- a weekly feature of the resort, consisted of sumptuous Indian and international cuisines. Foot-stomping live music, cocktails and mocktails amidst an exquisite locale were some of the other attractions. Hot air balloon activity was a massive hit with the crowds. Specially trained staff was in attendance for all the activities as FHR places great emphasis on safety, proper equipment and expert instruction. “Forest Hill Golf and Country Club is an ideal haven for all those who cherish the good things. We have just launched our Adventure Park and I am overwhelmed with the response that the Adventure Carnival received. We have brought some exclusive activities to the region and such carnivals are going to be an on-going exercise,” said Devinder Sandhu, senior director, Forest Hill Golf and Country Club. Another thrilling experience was the mountain biking activity that saw bikers zigzag through rough mountainous terrains.
