Production at Adriyala to increase

The Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) got an assurance from equipment suppliers regarding substantial increase in production at the Adriyala Long Wall underground project in Godavarikhani, Karimnagar district.

The production will increase to 10,000 tonnes per day next month and 15,000 tonnes per day in March. The equipment, supplied by German firm Caterpillar, is undergoing trial runs since October last year. It is against this backdrop that SCCL chairman and managing director N. Sridhar held a detailed technical review with senior executives of Caterpillar on Wednesday, a press release said.
