Raghu Ramappa’s next is a romantic drama

Model-turned-actor Raghu Ramappa, who made his Sandalwood debut with the film 35/100 (Just Pass), has bagged his next project — a romantic drama titled Matthade Sanje. Directed by Milind Dharmasen, the film features Raghu in two contrasting roles.
Elaborating on the film, Raghu says, “It’s a wonderful concept as Milind has given it a poetic flavour with all the shayaris that he has penned. The film will feature two love stories, of which one is set in the 90s and the other in the present.It highlights the beauty and value of love in the 90s, in contrast to how it has little value today. I play two different characters — a college boy from the 90s and a boy of today. I did a lot of research for my 90s role. I watched a lot of films from that era and spoke to people who were in college in the 90s, asking them about their lifestyle, the way they dressed and how they would propose to a woman they fell in love with. It was during this process that I realized how pure and innocent love was back then and how shallow it tends to get these days.”
