foTripura Public Service Commission announces 27 vacanciesr Assistant Professor

Tripura Public Service Commission has invited applications for the post of Assistant Professor (Group-A Gazetted), Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE)/ College of Teachers Education under Higher Education Department. There are a total of 27 vacancies for the post and the selected candidates will be placed on direct basis in Tripura.

All interested and willing candidates need to apply before February 3, 2015.

Name of the post: Assistant Professor

Pay Scale: The pay scale for the post offered by the department will be between Rs. 15,600 to 39,100 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The applicant should possess Master's Degree in any stream with an aggregate of 50 per cent marks and M.Ed or B.Ed with 55 per cent marks from any recognized college/ institute/ university.

Age Limit

As on February 3, 2015, the candidate should be around 40 years of age. There is a relaxation of 5 years for the scheduled caste/ scheduled tribe/ OBC category.

Selection Procedure

The selection will be based on the performance in screening test/ personality test.

-The candidates can download the application form from the official website of the Tripura Public Service Commission or they can get it from the branches of Tripura Gramin Bank.

-The candidates are required to fill the application form as prescribed.

-Two recent passport size photographs affixed on the application form and admit card, self attested documents and self addressed envelope bearing the postage stamp of Rs. 5 should be deposited to the TPSC secretariat reception counter.

-The applicants will have to deposit the form by February 3, 2015 and before 5 am.
